Waiting for Baby Boy Moore

Hi Friends and Family,

We had an exciting start to the Labor Day Weekend. Kristy began to have contractions on Thursday evening around 11:30 PM that began 20 minutes apart and by 2:30 am Friday morning were 5 minutes apart. We called the doctor on call and got ready to head to the hospital and then the contractions began to subside and we went to bed at 4 am. Friday morning around 8 am the contractions began again but we wanted to make sure Hannah got to meet her new Preschool teacher at "Meet the Teacher" day at The Ark Preschool. So we went and Nana Moore met us there. After we left the preschool Kristy didn't feel that well and contractions were becoming more constant, so we call the doctor again and we were sent to the hospital. At the hospital they were again 5 minutes apart. They gave Kristy a shot to slow / stop labor and the contractions remained constant. There was no dilation and so the doctor told us we could go home and "watch and wait." Around 8:30 PM Friday night the contractions finally slowed to one an hour. So...that has been our "labor" day weekend! Kristy goes to the doctor on Wednesday...the C-Section is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10 at Noon. We'll see if we make it!

Hang in there but from my experience a scheduled C-section is the way to go but when he is ready to see the world he will let you know. Good Luck and can't wait to see his name. Love ya!
