Happy 10th Wedding Anniversary!

Aaron and I celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary on Friday (May 15th)! The day started with some beautiful red roses from Aaron (see pic). I drove into Dallas and picked him up from work and we headed to Ft. Worth. We ate at Ferre Restaurant (a great little Italian place downtown Ft. Worth across from Bass Hall) and then we headed over to the Bass Hall to take in a night at the Symphony with the Ft. Worth Symphony Orchestra and guest violinist - Augustin Hadelich. He was amazing! Thanks so very much to Aunt Nancy and Uncle John for watching Zander for us and for Dad and Mom Moore taking care of Hannah for the night. We had a very special day! Thanks to all of you who have encouraged us, prayed for us, and loved us from the beginning of our life journey together! You are a blessing and such a gift to us!

Hannah got us a "wedding cake!" (a little baby cake with "Happy 10th Anniversary) She was very concerned about when she would get a piece!

A night at the Symphony!

A toast to 10 years! Dinner at Ferre restaurant.

"Some trust in chariots some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God."
~ Psalm 20:7 This verse was on our wedding program and a verse we claimed for our marriage...there have been several times in the past 10 years we have looked at each other and said, "What we were thinking to have claimed that verse for our marriage?!?" (smile) God has provided so many opportunities for us to choose him over other things in our life. Sometimes we have been obedient and other times we have allowed circumstances, fear, etc. to stand in between us and God's best. He has faithfully shown us He knows us and loves us and He alone is worthy of our lives. We continue the pursuit of trusting in Him as opposed to the many, many things the world offers. Please continue to pray for us that as husband and wife and parents we would trust God to lead us and to provide all that we need.
