This past week (5/7/09) we visited the Dallas Museum of Art and viewed the King Tutankhamun exhibit. Hannah LOVED it! Hannah and I have been checking out books from the library on art and different artists so we decided that we should go to an art museum and Mommy and Daddy were excited to see the King Tut exhibit. Hannah cried when we got to the museum because she was scared of seeing a mummy and was afraid the mummy would "get her." She overcame that fear and enjoyed the exhibit and then later, cried when it was time to go because she told us she "hadn't seen everything!" We promised her we would come back. The museum has a neat children's area and a place where children are given different materials to create art. As Hannah was creating her own masterpiece she informed me, "Mommy, I am making REAL art!" She then asked me, "Mommy, where are they going to put my art?" (smile)
