We headed to Indianapolis on July 7th (Aaron, Nana, & Hannah driving) and July 8th (Kristy & Zander - flying) to visit family and attend the National Young Republican Federation Convention where we (Aaron and Kristy) were representing Texas as delegates. We had a great time visiting Aunt Cookie (Carolyn), John David, Aunt Shelley, Uncle Jerry, Sarah, Derek, Aunt Cherie, Uncle Brian, Evan, Kelly, Kyle, Dolly, and Monte. Hannah was so excited to go to the Speedway in Indy (check out her souvenir helmet - thanks Nana!) and go to the Indianapolis Children's Museum, and of course see family and stay in a hotel! Zander took his first airplane ride and did terrific...such a trooper - slept going and coming back home. It was a special visit for Zander since he met so many family members for the first time. Aaron and I enjoyed the convention...we were excited to meet Chairman Steele and Bush's Former Press Secretary - Ari Fleischer (see pic below). We are so thankful to Nana for coming along with us to make the travel possible! Thank you, thank you! Wonderful to visit family! We asked Hannah what was the best part of the trip and she answered, "Cousin Sarah and Cousin Derek!" It was a special visit.
