Zander is 10 months old! (Posting is late because we were in Indianapolis on the 10th of July.) Here are pictures from the past month and the past few days. Zander can say - "Da-Da" (Daddy), "Bye-Bye," "Ball," "Hi," and we have heard him a say a couple of times "Nana" and "Anna" (which we are guessing is Hannah). He is doing well with his baby sign language - he can sign "more" and "all done" (used when he is finished eating something). Big thing this month is that he can clap! He is so proud of himself to clap...he did it for the first time on July 6th. If you start singing "If you are happy and you know it..." he starts clapping his hands, if you say "Yeah Zander!" he starts clapping his hands, and if you start saying the "Patty Cake" rhyme - he starts clapping his hands. He also starts clapping and trying to dance (bobs up and down) when he hears music. So, Zander has been clapping a lot the past couple of weeks. He is also crawling up on his hands and knees...however, he still prefers the "army crawl" at times. He took his first plane ride last week to Indy and did great. He still just has two teeth but he is trying to cut two more teeth on bottom and a couple on top...OUCH! This morning he stood up holding his teething ring and stood alone for about 5 seconds before sitting back down...he is cruising everywhere! He is pretty fearless about getting around obstacles! This past week he started learning to play ball...passing it back and forth. He weighs 18 lbs 14 oz and is close to 28 inches long. Hope you enjoy the pictures. We love our sweet boy!
